Brownwood News – Coleman County had avoided a positive case of COVID-19, until Friday, April 24, 2020. According to Coleman County Judge, Billy Bledsoe, the person does reside in Coleman County. The individual works out of the County and had known exposure. The individual, and their household, were immediately quarantined. The other family members are asymptomatic, (showing no symptoms).
“We are being advised to take common sense precaution, do not panic, continue to practice social distancing, frequent hand washing and the wearing of face masks. While we do know our bubble has been burst, the individual did what was right for our community by quarantining at the onset of symptoms. Our community is still at minimal risk of any community spread,” Bledsoe said.
