Brownwood Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 900 block of Hall Street Sunday night.
The fire was reported at approximately 9:00 p.m. and damage of the fire resulted in a total loss of the home.
According to Fire Marshal Buddy Preston, no one was at the home, which had been vacant for approximately 8 years, and there were no injuries reported.The cause of the fire is undetermined and the investigation remains open, said Preston.
