The students of Woodland Heights Elementary are getting a special treat this year for Halloween.
The School Nutrition staff of Mary Barnes, Anne Vedrode, Anita Casey and Elvia Ibarra spent extra time baking and decorating “finger cookies” for the students. The cookie used a Snicker Doodle recipe and the crew added red piping gel and an almond slice. The pastry concoction was the talk of the school on October 31.
The Woodland Heights School Nutrition staff regularly enjoys making holiday treats for their students. Last Easter, the crew made rabbit cookies. Thanks to all the School Nutrition crew at Woodland Heights for their hard work.
