Funeral Mass for Fernando Alvizo, age 34 of Brownwood will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Church. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, June 1 with a Rosary at 7 PM at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Alvizo passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, in Cross Plains in an accident. He was a loving father, son, brother and friend gone too soon.
Fernando was born to Isidro and Narsey Alvizo on November 25, 1982 in Brownwood, Texas. He graduated Brownwood High School. Fernando worked at Kohler Company for 15 years. The past year, he fulfilled his dream of owning his business, ALL-IN-ONE Services. He married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Alvizo on August 21, 1999. He was generous; he helped others, made them laugh and was the light of the family gatherings. He loved challenges and always reached his goals.
He loved music, dancing and tattoos. He enjoyed grilling and spending time with family and friends. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He always had a smile on his face. He would make the best out of every situation.
Fernando is survived by his wife, Cynthia Alvizo of Brownwood; children, Fernando Jr., Kali, Santiago and Levi of Brownwood; brother Virgilio Leonardo Alvizo of Austin; parents, Isidro and Narsey Alvizo of Brownwood; aunts Dora Garcia, Enedelia Mares, Aurora Martinez, Rosa and Jesus Avila of Reno, Nevada, Silvia Alvizo, Amparo Alvizo, Flor Alvizo, Ma de Jesus Alvizo, Azusena Alvizo; uncles Juan Jose Alvizo, Jaime Alvizo, Angel Alvizo, Carlos Alvizo, Antonojene Alvizo Rosendo and Elva Mares, Jaime and Caroline Mares, Javier and Martha Mares of Brownwood; maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Mares; paternal grandfather, Isidro Alvizo, Sr., his best friend Jose Cantu; godparents, Raul and Ernestina Ibarra and numerous other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Aldefina Alvizo, and maternal grandfather, Gonzalo Mares.
