District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

  • Albert Manuel Zepeda pled no contest to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Eighteen (18) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Frank Daniel Cisneros pled guilty to the felony offense of Evading Arrest and was sentenced to Seven (7) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Gary Wayne Hale pled guilty to the felony offense of Escape and was sentenced to Six (6) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • David J. McCombs pled no contest to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Six (6) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further McCombs, on probation for the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated was revoked and sentenced to Six (6) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Colton David Burk pled guilty to the felony offense of Sexual Assault of a Child and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Lonnie Edward Berger pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Four (4) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jason Gilbert Guerrero pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to Three (3) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. 
  • Matthew Thornton Morrow pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Two (2) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
