District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Martin Deward Fallon IV, on probation for the felony offense of Sexual Assault of a Child, was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Fallon, on probation for the felony offense of Hindering Apprehension or Prosecution, was adjudicated and sentenced to 8 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Taylor David Hart, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation with Intent to Commit Assault, was adjudicated and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Amanda Nicole Cantu pled guilty to three separate felony cases of Fraud and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Cantu, on probation of the felony offense of Fraud, was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Also, Cantu, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Melvin Gil Batista, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Batista pled no contest to the felony offense of Fail to Stop and Render Aid and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Amanda Nicole Flores, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ramon Ramos pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 11 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
