District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

  • David Paul Sydow pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to Forty (40) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Joshua Lee Dean pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Robbery with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to Forty (40) Years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division for the robbery of Jerry’s Burgers.
  • Alan Joe Havens pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Enhanced and was sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
  • Jimmy Walls pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Simulated Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Nine (9) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
