District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.
Hector Gonzales, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Gonzales pled guilty to the felony offense of Sexual Assault and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division. Gonzales also pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 9 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Joseph Franklin Merrbaugh pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
