District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.
Robert Lynn Hale pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Lacey Diane Westerman pled guilty to the felony offenses Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone, Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division in each case.
Rebecca Kay Balfour pled no contest to the felony offense of Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 9 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.Alberto Celestino Rocha pled no contest to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Manuel Gomez, III pled guilty to the felony offense of Prohibited Weapons – Weapons Free School Zone and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Myron Oscar Condon pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion and Violation of Protective Order and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.
