District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

John Franklin Walker, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Prohibited Substances in a Correctional Facility and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Walker pled guilty to the felony offenses of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and Retaliation and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Charles Bennie pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 17 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. 

Roel Garza pled guilty to the two separate felony offenses of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ann Marie Wilder pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession or Transport of Certain Chemical with Intent to Manufacture Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Wilder, on probation for the felony offense of Forgery, was adjudicated and sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Douglas Wesley Barnett, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.    Further, Barnett, on probation for the state jail felony of Criminal Mischief, was adjudicated and sentenced to 24 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Christopher Allen Lankford, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Enhanced, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

James David Moffett pled no contest to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Randall Dale Ward, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further Ward pled guilty to the state jail felony offenses of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest and was sentenced to 18 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Travis Andrew Miller pled guilty to the felony offense of Theft of Firearm and was sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.  Further, Miller, on probation for the felony offense of Burglary of a Building, was adjudicated and sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Ruben Gonzales, Jr., on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to 10 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
