District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that a few felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Leroy Moore, Jr. pled guilty to two felony offenses of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and one felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 13 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.  Further, Moore, on probation for the felony offenses of Injury to a Child and Assault Family Violence-Enhanced, was adjudicated and sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Orlando Eleazar Guevara pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence-Occlusion and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Justin Alan Phipps pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
