BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports that two felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Clinton James Easter pled guilty to the felony offenses of Theft Against Elderly Individual and Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 30 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Easter pled guilty to the felony offenses of Burglary of a Building, Theft of a Firearm and Theft over $1,500 under $20,000 and sentenced to 20 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Christopher Knox was found guilty of the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion – Previous Convictions and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
