District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that three felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.
Brian Jay Rodriguez aka Bryan Jay Rodriguez pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 17 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Joe William Stephens pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Stephens pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.Michael Ross Burnett, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Theft-Against Elderly Individual and Forgery and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further Burnett pled no contest to the state jail felony offense of Theft-Against Elderly Individual and was sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
