District Attorney Micheal Murray reports that a few felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.
Selso Martinez pled no contest to the felony offense of Fail to Comply with Sex Offender Requirement and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Martinez pled no contest to the state jail felony offense of Evading Arrest and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
Brian Lee Jones pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.Christian Xavier Garcia pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 7 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
