BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray reports that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Shawn Lee Hickey pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further Hickey pled guilty to two separate state jail felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 24 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division in each case.

Keith Wayne Hoff pled guilty to the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jerry Allen Leonard pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and was sentenced to 6 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Johnny Lee Strickland pled no contest to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Chad Allen Robison, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Robison, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of Marijuana-Drug Free Zone, was adjudicated and sentenced to 1 year, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Gabriel Chico Campos, on probation for the felony offense of Theft over $1500 under $20,000 was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Cameron Allen Botts, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of Marijuana was adjudicated and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Kandace Nicole Carr, on probation for the felony offense of Abandoning or Endangering a Child, was revoked and sentenced to 12 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Jordan Gregory Griffin pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 6 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
