Brownwood News – According to District Attorney, Micheal Murray, the following felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis, presiding.
Jason Rosas, pled guilty to the felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver in a Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Forty (40) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Alexander Villareal, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to Fifteen (15) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
April Brown, pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Brown, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Fraudulent Use/Possession of Identifying Information and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
Bryan Dee Penn, aka Bryan Dee Penn II, pled guilty to the felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation, Retaliation and Assault Family Violence-Enhanced and was sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division in each case.
