The Brownwood Feels Like Home Celebration committee announced this week that their annual event held the 3rd weekend of September will be transitioning into a network of events held throughout the year.
The first stage of the change will be the development of a network of events by creating partnerships with various organizations around the community. Some brand new events will be developed as well as new exposure opportunities for many existing community events. The concept will offer the community and visitors a slate of yearly events that will help increase the quality of life in the community and be a draw for those visiting from out of town.
The second stage of the change will be to update the CelebrateBrownwood.com website and the social media pages to help promote this network of events. These marketing outlets will help promote many of the area’s existing and new community events. An ongoing schedule of events will be posted online at CelebrateBrownwood.com which will be updated continually as new events are submitted and developed.
Organizations in Brown County are also encouraged to submit events to be publicized online through the Feels Like Home Celebrations campaign.
