She was born on March 31, 1933 to Ira Curtis and Hester Patton Anderson in Midland Texas. She married Wayne Wilson on February 13, 1954 in Carlsbad, NM. She entered into the presence of her KING on April 4, 2011.

At the young age of 20, while dating Wayne, she accepted Christ, which began a 58 year love affair with her Lord Jesus. She was a 50 year member and Past Matron of the Order of The Eastern Star. She was a member of FBC Midkiff, Texas before becoming a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church where she served in many rolls and had an influence on many people in their Christian walk. She received a certificate for working 25 consecutive years in Vacation Bible School. Among many things, Faye loved adventure and she and Wayne embarked on many journeys, from Colorado and Wyoming, Florida and even parts of Canada. She shared this passion with her family as well as her friends. She was a Member for 10 years of Texas Baptist Men where she and Wayne worked in many of the Texas Baptist Camps building and improving the facilities. She loved to work with her hands and expressed that through the many charities the Texas Baptist Camp-builders wives would donate items to. Faye was also a part of the Boyce Evan Evangelistic Association

She is survived by her husband, 2 sons: Sandy Wilson (and wife Sheryl) Midland, Texas; Donald Wilson of San Angelo, Texas; 2 daughters; Brenda Tucker (with her husband George) of Big Lake, Texas; Janice Morris (and husband Bob) of Bandera, Texas; 1 brother George Anderson of Midland, Texas and 9 grandchildren and 12 great grand children, many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Elmo Anderson and Tuffy Anderson, 1 sister Kate Woods, 1 grandson Craig George, 1 granddaughter Jill George and daughter in law Diane Wilson.

Faye Marie Wilson had a huge impact on the lives of many throughout her time on this earth even up unto her final days. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy lives on through the family and friends she has touched, taught and inspired in her short 78 years. Thank you Granny!
