Funeral Services for Faydeen Hill Patterson, age 87, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Slaymaker officiating; interment will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Faydeen passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center. She was born May 20, 1928, to Adrain and Janie Fay (Norwood) Pendleton in O’Donnell, Texas.
Faydeen attended Victory Baptist Church. She worked in the cafeteria at Brownwood Jr. High for many years. Faydeen enjoyed going to the Senior Center and the relationships she made there. She loved playing bingo and poker.
Faydeen is survived by her husband, Leroy Winscher; children, Ronnie Jess Hill, Janie Roberts and husband Clint, Leonard Ray Hill and wife Toni; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Patsy Hill, Marge Massey, and Wanda Beaty. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Jess Hill; 2nd husband, James Patterson; daughter, Laura Beth Hill; daughter-in-law, Kay Hill; four brothers; and one sister.
