Funeral services for Fay Fleming, age 82, of Brownwood, will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2010 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cross Plains Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 at the funeral home.
Ms. Fleming died Thursday, February 4, 2010 in Brownwood.
Fay was born on November 22, 1927 in Santa Anna to Charlie and Katie (Tennison) Dillard. She married LJ Fleming in the Pioneer Community in 1948. Fay worked for J.C. Penney, Montgomery Ward and Wal-Mart before retiring.
Fay is survived by her son Charles Fleming and wife Regina of Brownwood, two sisters, Olene Falkner and Oleta Pinkston, both of Brownwood, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LJ in 2008, three sisters, Gladys Smith, Virgie Baugh, and Minnie Fore; two brothers, Charles Dillard and Vernon Dillard.
