Brownwood News – The Family Services Center in Brownwood will be offering a “Family Camp” event every Tuesday morning, beginning June 6th and running until August 8th.
The community is encouraged to join the Family Services Center staff for breakfast and kids’ activities while staff members share parenting tips and tricks. Interested individuals must register by May 30th as space is limited. Call 325-646-5939 to join in the fun. This program is best suited for children ages 3-12.
The event will offer games, crafts, outside play, music and snacks, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served, thanks to sponsorship from Superior Healthplan.
The Family Services Center has been promoting the health and well-being of children and families since 1994. Their facility is located at 901 Avenue B in Brownwood. The Family Services Center offers a variety of programs at little to no cost for local families, including Parenting Education, Counseling, Anger Management, Children in the Middle, Mediation, Battering Intervention and Prevention Program, and Literacy programs.
