The Family Services Center is getting ready for their 3rd Annual Golf Challenge, “100 Holes for Families,” and announced participating golfers/teams and are seeking pledges to help make the event a success.
Each golfer is working to raise $1000.00 or more in pledges during the event which has a goal of $20,000. The event will be held on two dates, April 25th at the Hideout at Lake Brownwood and May 5th at the Brownwood Country Club.
Organizers thank the participants and those supporting the event with pledges and sponsorships. The funds raise work to support families for a better community through the services of the Family Service Center.
Jill Evans, FSC Volunteer/Outreach Coordinator, explained more about the donation process. The public is invited to participate through making pledges of support to the golfers listed below.
“100% of all pledges goes directly to the operations and programs of Family Services Center,” said Evans. “Donations are tax deductible and pledges will be due June 1st.”
Special donated prizes will be awarded for the golfers with the most holes played and most pledges raised. Each person who sponsors a golfer will be placed in a drawing for prizes provided by Staples.
