Ezra “Mack” Pritchard, age 72, of Blanket passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral Services for Mack will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2017, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Slaymaker officiating; burial will follow at Rising Star Cemetery. Visitation will be held from Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Mack was born to William and Josie Pritchard on February 15, 1944, in Lowell, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the Army during Vietnam, receiving numerous awards and medals including a Purple Heart. Mack was a member of the VFW in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was an automobile mechanic for many years in Hobbs, New Mexico. Mack loved the outdoors and hunting.

Mack is survived by his wife, Kathryn Pritchard of Blanket; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; mother-in-law, Loneva Russell of Blanket; and dogs, Sunshine and Midnight. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and best friend, Joe Berryman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Josie Pritchard; and 3 sisters.
