EverittEunaEuna Belle Frost Everitt, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother left this life to go see Jesus on Thursday, October 18, 2012 in Brownwood, Texas at the age of 98.   Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Early, Texas with Rev. Eddie Ailshie officiating.  Interment will follow at the Holt Cemetery in San Saba County.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the Heartland Funeral Home.

Euna Everitt was born on March 28, 1914 in Holt, Texas in San Saba County to W.H. (Hill) Frost and Minnie Ethyl Baxter Frost.  She was the second of seven children.  Through her life she saw many changes but, never lost her love for God and family.  She was known as Grannie to everyone who met her.  She met her husband John Filmore Everitt, Sr. and they were married January 1, 1939 in Brownwood.  They celebrated 52 years prior to his passing.  Together they owned and operated Everitts Grocery in Brady, Texas for many years.  In 1978, they retired and made their home in Brownwood where she was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.  She loved to garden, fish and travel with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her grandchildren Jay Everitt and wife Melesa of Blanket, Tammy Harner and husband Jim of Roanoke, and Angie Reno and husband Wade of Early;  one brother Eugene  Frost and wife Nita of Lohn; 11 Great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and one on the way.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded by her parents, husband, son J.F. Everitt Jr., one sister Edna Gage and by four brothers William, Finis, Elton and J.T. Frost.
