Eugene L. Rentz, of Brownwood, passed away on Sunday, May 26th, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 West Lake Road. Services have been entrusted to North’s Funeral Home, 242 Orange Street.
Eugene was born on July 25, 1942 to Edward And Ruth (Shelly) Rentz in Newton, Illinois. He joined the Air Force in 1959 and retired after 20 years. After retiring from the Air Force, Eugene worked as a mechanic.

He left to cherish his memories: a wife, Francis Powell-Rentz; a daughter, Melissa Crouch of Brownwood; two sons, Chris Rentz of Seattle, Washington, and Edward Rentz of Odessa; four grandchildren, Anthony Rentz, Aaron Rentz, Tiffany Crouch, and Amy Baker.
