Funeral Mass for Esther D. Manriquez, age 74, of Brownwood will be held at 2 PM Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Church. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2017 at the funeral home with a Rosary at 7 PM. Mrs. Manriquez passed away Monday, December 4, 2017.
Esther was born August 22, 1943 in La Bandera, Coahuila Mexico to Delfino and Angela (Soria) Duenes. She married Antonio Manriquez on July 2, 1962 in San Carlos, Coahuila Mexico. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; but mostly a faithful daughter of God.
Those left behind to cherish his memories are her husband, Antonio Manriquez; children, Patty Hernandez, Anna and John Allen, Jorge and Estella Manriquez; grandchildren, Janna and Justin Taylor, Kassidy Allen, John Christian Allen, Michael Manriquez, and Jacob Manriquez; brothers and sisters, Cruz Duenes, Juanita Villegas, Aristeo Duenes, Edmundo Duenes, Maria Ines Teran, Armandina Rios, Jose Lino Duenes and Otila Villegas, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and god-children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers and sisters, Margarita Garza, Philipe Duenes and Crispin Duenes.
