Funeral Service for Ernest Pesina, age 52, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home with Pastor Apericio Puentes. Interment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Pesina passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Lubbock.
Ernest was born on March 4, 1964 in Crystal City, Texas to Jesus Luna and Ofelia Romero Pesina and was married to Rachel Maldonado. Ernest loved cars. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and helping his best friend Ravae at Smitty’s in the kitchen. He loved his porch time as he called it with his “Mijo” Michael Pena. Ernest loved all the time he spent with his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cherished every moment with his Trubear and his Miss Addison Ofelia. He was a man with a big heart. His passion was concrete work which he had done for over 30 plus years.
Survivors include his wife Rachel Maldonado Pesina; daughters Amy Pesina and fiancée Robert Gomez, Michelle Pesina Perot and husband Darren Perot; his chosen son Michael Pena; father Jesus Pesina; sister Elsa Martinez; brothers Raymond Pesina and wife Cynthia, David Pesina and wife Jennifer, Jesse Pesina, Bobby Pesina and wife Jackie; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ofelia Romero Pesina, paternal grandfather Joaquin Pesina Sr., paternal grandmother Librada Pesina, maternal grandmother Juanita Vallejo and maternal grandfather Eugenio Romero and a niece Erica Lee Pesina.
