Ernest (Ernie) Franklin Cadenhead, III died on August 24, 2016. He was born in Brownwood, Texas, on August 7, 1953, to Ernest F. and Mary Edwards Cadenhead Jr. There will be no services.
He was a graduate of Brownwood High School and earned a B.S.R.N. from Tarleton State University. Ernie worked as a nurse for many years in Culbertson, Montana. He retired to Brown County in 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Mary Ann Cadenhead; and his grandparents, Dr. Ernest F. and Inez Cadenhead Sr. and George and Iola Edwards.Ernie is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Dr. Chris Stephens; his brother, Pete Cadenhead; his niece, Kate Stephens; and his uncles and aunts, Ben and Sondra Cadenhead, Dr. John and Ginger Cadenhead, and Kay Edwards, and their families.
