Emergency responders were called to the scene of an accident on C.C. Woodson Road involving a motorcycle and a Toyota Prius, injuring one Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of C.C. Woodson and FM 2525. According to emergency responders, the motorcyclist stated that he was traveling north on C. C. Woodson when the driver of the Toyota attempted to turn onto C. C. Woodson from FM 2525 and collided with the motorcycle.The motorcycle slid to the outside southbound lane of the roadway and the driver was lying in the middle of the roadway after the accident, according to one man who was the first to come upon the accident. The witness stated that the motorcyclist suffered a cut on his head and “road rash” on his back and arms, but was able to get up and climb onto the stretcher when EMS arrived. Emergency responders stated that the male’s condition was unknown; but it appeared he had non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Toyota was not reported to be injured.
Brownwood Police, Early Police, Brownwood Fire Department, Early Volunteer Fire Department and Allegiance Ambulance all responded to the scene.
