A graveside funeral service for Ellen Studdard, age 93, of Brownwood, will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday, February 16, 2020 in Eastlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Heartland Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.
Ellen was born on March 30, 1926 in Sawyer, Oklahoma, to Robert and Ruby Everhart. She passed away February 13, 2020 at Bangs Nursing and Rehab.
Ellen was a Christian from a very early age, and her motto in life was that, “The Lord has been very good to us, and we all have much to be thankful for.”
Ellen was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Ruby, her husband Elmo Studdard, her daughter Yvonne Studdard, her son Tom Studdard, and her siblings Nadine Liberto, James Everhart, and Kenneth Everhart.
Ellen is survived by her grandchildren Michelle Lancaster, Laurie Smithson, David Smithson, Paul Smithson, Jason Studdard, Wendy Huggins, and a nephew, Phil Liberto.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Bangs Nursing and Rehab for the excellent care that Ellen received during her stay.
