Memorial services for Elizabeth will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 17, 2011, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with Brian Griffin officiating.
Elizabeth was a caregiver. She cared about others more than herself. She had a huge heart. She was a Christian. She had a passion for children and people unable to care for themselves. She has worked for Small World Development, MHMR, Greater Faith, City and Rural Rides, and others that involved lending a helping hand. She was a very spirited person. She always had a contagious smile on her face. She absolutely loved her family and her little dog, Abigail. She was also the person that had to be told about a family gathering two hours in advance because she was late to everything. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Hazel Hawkins; two sons, Harley Ashley and Cory Ashley; three sisters, Yvonne Perry of Brownwood, Leonda Allgood and husband Dominic of Zephyr, and Shana King and husband Kenny of Zephyr; one brother, Dennis Stearns and wife Donna of Granbury; her best friend for life, Tracey Delgado husband Chris, and Tracey’s children Erica Finch husband Stephen and Branden Melot; her special little man, Sawyer Finch; and her very special dog, Abigail. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Allen and Norma Hawkins and Cecil V. Moseley and Elizabeth Garrett Moseley.
Services have been entrusted to the care of Blaylock Funeral Home.
