Funeral Mass for Elizabeth Diane “Jet” Sauseda, age 57, of Brownwood, will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Greenleaf Cemetery under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:30.

Elizabeth “Jet” Sauseda was born on January 10, 1957 in Brownwood to Roman and Mary Sauseda. She was raised and attended school in Houston. She later moved to Brownwood with her parents and siblings. On March 2, 1979, Elizabeth was blessed with her one and only daughter.
Elizabeth worked as a cashier for several convenience stores and also drove the lunch truck for the popular Mexico Inn Restaurant. She also worked for Fierro Realty cleaning, painting, and renting apartments. This is how she got her name “Jet,” always on the go. Elizabeth loved going on vacations to Galveston Beach, going out to eat, having family get-togethers, but most importantly she loved her cat “noo-noos.”Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nicole Barron, granddaughter, Naysa Leach, her father, Ramon Sauseda, Jr., sister Rachel Perez, brother, Mario Sauseda, all of Brownwood, a sister Linda Sanchez of Houston, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary M. Sauseda and a brother, Ricci Sauseda.
