Elizabeth (Betty) Vandenberg, 87, passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014, and heaven received our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend after a battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Jinx) Urzendowski and son-in-law, Jim, of Lake Brownwood, and also daughter Debra Sorenson of Omaha, Ne.
Included in the joys of her life were her grandchildren, Melissa Champion of Bangs, Mendy and Ralph Browning of Bangs, Michele and Brad Riker of Early, and Danielle and John Looney out of Omaha, Ne.
She also was blessed with great-grandchildren, Michael, Maddie, Josh, Chase, and Ellie.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January, 16th, at Netherton Funeral Home from 7-8 pm.
There will be a memorial mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, January 17th at 10 am.
