Elizabeth “Betty” Jane Walker, age 74, of Brownwood passed away Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Services for Betty will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow at Indian Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Blaylock Funeral Home.
Elizabeth Walker was born on September 4, 1939 to Vernon and Cleo Brooking in Graham, TX. In 1956, she married the love of her life Claudie Walker in Wichita Falls. She attended Southside Baptist Church. Bingo was one of her favorite hobbies and visiting with her friends.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 57 years, Claudie; three sons, Richard and wife Cindy, Curtis and wife Sherry of Sweetwater, and Steve and wife Ann of Cape Coral, FL. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Jared and wife Megan, Tristin and husband Aaron, Stephanie and husband Dennis, and Taylor and Lauren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Elgene Brooking.
