Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Buse, age 78, of Early, Texas, formerly of Gordon, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Heartland Funeral Home with James and Lavell Haynes officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the Santa Anna Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Buse passed away Saturday, May 29, 2016 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
Elizabeth Ann was born on July 5, 1937 in Bells, Texas to Charlie King and Viola Ethel Powers Ivey. She was married to Joe Buse in Merced, California on June 5, 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Faith.
Survivors include her husband Joe Buse of Early; sons Stephen Douglas (Stephe) Buse and wife Susie of China Springs, Texas, Richard Edward (Rick) Buse and wife Trisha of Pensacola, Florida, Joseph Daniel Buse and wife Mary of Winters, Texas, James (Jimmy) Buse and wife Cheryl of Early, Texas. 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers J.W., Bobby Jack, Danny, Charles, and Teddy James Ivey and a sister Connie Webb.
