Brownwood High School band students auditioned for the ATSSB (Association of Texas Small School Bands) All Region Band on Saturday, December 1st.
Eight BHS band students earned positions in one of the three ATSSB bands. Concert band members from BHS are: Jacquelyn Gibson on clarinet, Brady Taylor on trombone, and Thomas Kerby on euphonium.Symphonic band members from BHS are: Zachary Ramos on tenor sax, Karissa Means on trumpet, Jacob Escobar on trombone, and Jose Hernandez on percussion.
Brock Allen made the Honors Band on alto saxophone and qualified for the Area Band as well. Allen will have the opportunity to audition for the ATSSB All State Band in January.
Brownwood ISD congratulates these students as well as those who tried out for the All Region Band.
