A winter coat drive is being sponsored by the Early High School Key Club and the Early Middle School Builders Club in order to help make these chilly winter months more bearable for those in need.
The coat drive is just one of the many beneficial service projects members are participating in this month.
The clubs are accepting donations of new or lightly-used coats. The focal purpose of the coat drive is to bring warmth to the community in light of the holiday season. The clubs are collaborating together to make the coat drive a success, however, the drive is not restricted to club members. The public is also invited to participate in the clubs’ service efforts to assist the community. Both organizations have already collected numerous boxes of contributed coats. All donations will be distributed to Good Samaritan and Goodwill. The EHS Key Club and EMS Builders Club will be distributing the accumulated coats on Friday, December 21st.
