Edwin Allan Horn, surrounded by a host of heavenly angels, passed away gently, December 5, 2014 in Houston, Texas.
He was born December 8, 1930 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from High School in Paw Paw, Michigan and Western Michigan University. He was always an outstanding athlete. He loved our country and served as a Lieutenant in the U. S. Army in Germany. After his military service he taught school in Michigan and Wisconsin Delle, Wisconsin. He moved to Texas in 1978 to marry Alice Early Horn formerly of Brownwood, Texas. They resided in Sherman, Texas, he then moved to Houston, Texas after his retirement from Glaxo-Smith-Klein, a global health care company.
He is survived by a loving family who will miss his gentle soul and loving nature. He was a fine golfer with many interests, friends, medical professionals and caretakers. Allan was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
Graveside services for Mr. Horn will be Saturday, December 13, 2014, 1:00 PM at Greenleaf Cemetery. Davis-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Horn. Condolences for the family may be left online at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
