Funeral services for Edith Barnum of Brownwood, Texas will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors John Villarreal, David Barnum and Debbie Douglas officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Barnum passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
Edith was born in Brownwood, Texas to Burt Parker and Thelma Louise Barnett Parker. A lifetime resident of this area, she married to Jasper Daniel Barnum in Brownwood and he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a member of the Milton Avenue Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Numerous Grandchildren and Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Cecil and Jack Parker and sisters Letha Burks, Geneva Fallon and Louise Parker.
