ColemanPlaza_SmIn celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, Grace Pointe will once again sponsor the Brownwood Community Sunrise Service at the Stuart and Margaret Coleman Plaza at the Depot Center in downtown Brownwood. The service will be at 7:00 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, at the plaza.

This year’s Sunrise Service will feature special musical presentations by Bro. Vince McClure and Jessica Acker. Bro. McClure is a renown music evangelist whose talents include multiple instruments and Southern Gospel presentations. Sis. Acker is known for her rendition of “In the Garden.”

Bro. Leland Acker will bring a special message entitled, “The Glory of the Resurrected Savior.”

“Last year, the Community Sunrise Service was a moving ceremony,” Bro. Acker said. “There is just something about being out there on Easter Sunday morning, as the sun rises. We had several people request that we do this again, and we are blessed to be able to hold this service.”

Those who want to begin Easter worshipping the Lord are invited to do so by attending the Community Sunrise Service at 7:00 a.m. Easter Sunday, March 31, at the Coleman Plaza (pictured above). Parking is available at the Depot Center, the Adams Street Community Center, the Coleman Plaza, and across the street in front of the Red Cross building.
