Brownwood News – Early voting continues through Friday in Texas.
On Tuesday, February 25, in Brown County, 12 people cast votes in the Democrat Primary while 229 people cast votes in the Republican Primary.
The early vote total in Brown County, as of 5 pm Tuesday, was 110 Democrats and 1,503 Republicans for a total of 1,613.
That total compares to 928 votes in 2018 and 2,200 votes in 2016 during the last presidential election.
Early voting continues through this Friday, February 28, at the Brown County Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk. There will be extended hours for voting on Thursday and Friday – 7 am to 7 pm.
