Early Primary Begins Pre-Registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten April 14-18

Early ISD announces that pre-registration for Pre-K and Kindergarten students for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year will be held April 14-18.

This pre-registration is for EARLY RESIDENTS ONLY. Parents may register their children in the Primary Office from 8:30 AM-4:00 PM, Monday through Friday of that week.  Birth certificates, immunization records, social security cards, proof of residency, and photo identification of the person who is enrolling children are required.

To qualify for prekindergarten, children must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2014, and must be unable to speak and comprehend English, be homeless, or qualify for free or reduced school lunches. Children may also qualify if a parent is on active duty in the military.

To qualify for kindergarten, students must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2014.

Early registration is extremely important because it helps Early ISD staff to prepare for the upcoming school year.
