Brownwood News – The Early Police Department is currently looking for 28-year-old Justin Doyle Pierce as a suspect in a recent Burglary of Habitation, according to a press release issued this afternoon. Pierce has been identified as the suspect who broke into a house in the 100 block of East River Oaks on Sunday, August 19th, in the middle of the afternoon.

 

 

The homeowner called 911 when he arrived home to find Pierce coming out of his house. The homeowner later learned a handgun had been taken from the home.  A warrant for Justin Pierce was obtained for Burglary of Habitation after he was identified through some follow-up investigation. Pierce is also wanted in several other counties including Comanche, Lampasas, Johnson and the Texas Parole Board.

Pierce was last seen in a gray Taurus but that vehicle was abandoned during a chase with Sanger PD on Monday, August 27th. Pierce was able to avoid capture at that time.
