Friday night at 11:25pm Sgt Shawn Dibrell and Officer Johnny Brown of the Early Police Department received information regarding an individual having an outstanding felony warrant and possibly in possession of drugs according to Early Police Chief David Mercer.

Dibrell and Brown searched several areas attempting to locate the subject when he was located at a convenience store according to Mercer.  Sgt Dibrell and Officer Brown made contact with Bryan Jay Rodriguez as he got back into his vehicle. Rodriquez was arrested for the outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a Possession of Controlled substance charge.

Officers then located a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, xanax, scales, packaging materials and other paraphernalia according to police.

Rodriguez was arrested for manufacturing and delivery of penalty group 1 drug which is a 1st degree felony, possession of controlled substance penalty group 3 which is a state jail felony, and possession of marijuana.
