Brownwood News – On Tuesday, November 5, Early Police Department arrested an 18-year-old male in Brownwood for Sexual Assault of a Child. The 18-year-old was charged as a juvenile since the offenses occurred when the 18-year-old was under the age of 17.
According to the Early Police Department, the charges were filed after Early Police Department Detective, Steven Means, followed up on an investigation of an alleged sexual assault outcry from the suspect’s 13-year-old sister. The offenses occurred approximately 3 years prior to the report date which was on September 26, 2019. The allegations included forced oral and vaginal sex from the victim. The 18-year-old was taken to the Brown County Juvenile facility.
