Early Pioneer Days is set to kick off on September 16th and 17th with family fun, competitions and concerts on Saturday night at the Early City Park.
United Supermarket’s Fried Pie Eating Contest will be held from 2-3 p.m. on September 17th. All contestants must enter prior to noon September 17th. Registration will be limited to 32 entrants on a first come first serve basis.
Those participating are challenged to eat three fried pies as fast as they can. The fastest time will win the contest. Pies must be eaten completely, with no dropping or spilling in any manner. Contestants can use their hands to eat the pies.To register, call the Early Chamber of Commerce at 325-649-9317.
