Brownwood News – Early Police arrested 32 year old Luis Cintron at a local motel on January 8, 2018, after a warrant had been issued following an allegation he had showed pornographic images to a 14 year old child.
According to the report released on Tuesday, the Early Police Department began investigation into the offense 2 weeks ago, after being informed that Luis Cintron was taking a relative’s children to school when he allegedly took the 14-year-old child out in a car and began showing pornographic pictures to the child on his phone in an attempt to convince the child to have sex with him. The minor refused and Cintron then took the child to school and drove away.
A warrant was obtained for Cintron, and officers later arrested him at a motel.
Cintron was booked into the Brown County Jail following the arrest. He is currently being jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $32,000.

- Accident – 4500 block Hwy 183 South. Minor damage and injuries. 1 transported by lifeguard
- Reckless driver – 900 block Early Boulevard – officer made contact with the caller who reported an incident that occurred earlier in the day
January 7th:
- Agency Assist – 3900 block Highway 183 North with BCSO – domestic disturbance – solved by separation
- Suspicious call – 100 block Suttee – caller stated she thought she saw someone by her gate – officer checked area and stated no one around
- Harassment – 100 block Early Boulevard – caller stated that subject has been threatening to hurt her and is passing back and forth on highway while she is walking – officer unable to locate the vehicle but will continue to patrol area.
- Suspicious call – 300 block Early Boulevard – vehicle parked behind the mall. Everything checked ok
- Welfare check – 100 block Misti Lane – subject stated he was ok, didn’t need any help
- Suspicious call – 200 block Crescent – subject wearing reflective jacket walking into people yards – officer located subject, works for gas company
- Medical emergency – 100 block Misti Lane – lifeguard transported
- Reckless driver – South Highway 183 traveling toward Early – vehicle driving high rate of speed. Officer unable to locate vehicle
- Reckless driver – East Highway 377 – vehicle traveling high rate of speed – officer unable to locate the vehicle
January 6th:
- Theft – 900 block Early Boulevard – white pickup is suspect vehicle
- 130 block Suddereth Drive – welfare check – caller can hear children crying and is worried about them. Officer made contact and checked everyone welfare-contact CPS
- Motorist assist – 900 block Early Boulevard – vehicle broke down in roadway, losing lots of fuel
- Medical emergency – 100 block Lucus – lifeguard transporting
- Welfare check – 200 block Hillcrest Drive – officer checked, everything is ok
- Burglary – 900 block Terraha Drive – someone attempted to get in property now dog is very aggressive – officer checked everything, no one around. Homeowner request extra patrol
- Accident – FM 3100 – 1 vehicle rollover, driver ejected – air evac requested. 1 patient flown by Air Evac – DPS has investigation
- Suspicious call – 1000 block Highway 183 N – subjects parked in vehicle – stated to officer they were lost. Looking for I-20. Officer provided directions
- Traffic stop – 900 block Early Boulevard – vehicle stopped for reckless driving and had been reported for almost causing accident in Brownwood. Officer performed field sobriety test of the driver who failed the test. The driver, Sarah Michelle Leining, was placed under arrest for DWI, expired Drivers license and open container. Leining refused the blood test at which time officers obtained a search warrant for a blood test. Leining was transported to BRMC and a blood sample was taken. The passenger, Hunter Ryan Hall was arrested for outstanding warrant from Dublin PD for Theft of Firearms.
January 4th:
- welfare check – 100 block Hanson Lane – unable to locate anyone home
- Accident – 700 block Early Boulevard – accident report completed. No injuries
- Animal Cruelty – 100 block James Street – dogs left outside with no shelter – officer stated dogs do have shelter, food and water
- Medical emergency – 1000 block Early Boulevard – lifeguard transporting
- Disorderly conduct – parking lot EPD – subjects screaming and yelling in parking lot about where the Drivers license office is. 1 subject brought inside to question about anger problem, other party given directions to DPS. No violence, both parties clam down.
- Domestic Disturbance – River Oaks Drive – Male/female in vehicle driving high rate of speed then slam on brakes in roadways and got out screaming at each other. Both parties located on Salt Creek Drive. No violence. Male was leaving.
- City ordinance violation – subjects selling door to door. 2 subjects located. Citations issued for violation city ordinance.
- Welfare check – kids walking in middle of road on CC Woodson – officers checked the area, no one located
