Early Elementary and Middle School robotics teams competed and placed at an invitational meet on Monday, November 5th at Angelo State University in San Angelo. Teams were made up of 4th and 5th graders from Early Elementary and 6th-8th graders from Early Middle School. Over 50 Early ISD students participated in the event.
Out of 68 teams, the first place team Early (pictured top left) consisted of Aaron Koch, Hayden Barker, Corbin Whitley, and Dylan Whisenhunt. Other EMS teams that did very well are 5th place team of Asa Welker, Dagan Whisenhunt, Stephanye Lyon, and Shelby Gifford; 7th place team of David Wiley, Grant Mitchell, Bethany Kirk, and Cassie Durden; 8th place team of Kendel Beck, Ariel Lewis, Ryleigh Dalleh, and Noah Shreves; 12th place team of David Shields, Thomas Kinnin, Sydney Shea, and Emily Jillson. Other participants were Emily Rodriguez, Hannah Jones, Juni Ejere, Ben Johnson, Eric Diehl, Garrett Marsh, and Brandon Newman. Mrs. Hull took a total of 7 robotics teams, 27 students, to the meet.

Out of 68 teams, the top elementary team (pictured left), the Runaway Robots, placed 6th. Runaway Robots team was made up of Madison Green, Payton Bartlett, Kaitlin Godfrey, and Reagan Johnson. A total of 6 robotics teams represented Early Elementary at this meet.
