The teams were using the TCEA challenge Food Frenzy and were scored based on tasks each robot completed in the 2 minute time frame. Each team completed 3 scoring runs. The two highest scores for each team were added together and the 3 teams with the highest scores were awarded medals.
The first place team was the Terminators from Early Elementary School with 640 points. The second place team with 610 points was the Saints from Early Middle School. Third place went to the Centaurs also from Early Middle School with a combined score of 570.
Melissa Lewis of EHS, Tami Hull of EMS and Keith Taylor of EES are the coaches of the teams and were the managers of the event. They would like to thank those parents, faculty, and administrators who gave of their time to make this event a great success.
