Several Early High School band students auditioned and qualified for the Region 7 ATSSB All-Region Bands on Saturday, December 1st. The All Region Bands will perform in Stephenville on January 18 and 19.
Students auditioning were required to play three scales and two etudes for judges in Hamilton. EHS Band members who auditioned include Riley McGinnis (oboe), Christopher Whited (contrabass clarinet), Ryan Contreras (baritone saxophone), Treavor Bessent (trumpet), Briana Smith (trombone), Brad Brown (baritone), TJ Love (tuba), and Abraham Cooper (percussion). Christopher Whited, Ryan Contreras, and TJ Love are advancing to the All-State Band auditions, which will be held in Waco on January 12th.
